Traffic Engineering is a Pseudoscience

I made this video in collaboration with Wes Marshall based on his book "Killed By a Traffic Engineer", which details the history of American road design standards and guidelines. This look behind the curtain reveals that most of these standards are based in research that did not look at safety outcomes at all - and as a result, we have the worst road safety crisis in the western world that continues to worsen.
